Senior Specialist – Financial Controller

Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Specialist, to join the Group Controllership team. The candidate will play an integral role within the team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, coordination of both internal and external audits, and conducting detailed balance sheet analysis and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor in maintaining high standards of financial integrity and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Compile and analyze financial data to produce accurate financial reports and analysis as required by the Group and Governments, always adhering to company policies and IFRS standards. Conduct balance sheet analysis and reconciliations of critical balance sheet categories, advising on proper accounting treatment.
  • Liaise with Entities finance teams to ensure on-time completion of period end closing process. Support Assistant Group Controller and Corporate Financial Controller during closing process and Group FS preparation.
  • Support due diligence process and integration activities, ensuring smooth transitions into the consolidated financial structures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external audit, ensuring that all required documentation is prepared and provided in a timely manner. Address auditor queries and support in implementing recommendations post audit.
  • Analyze, prepare and reconcile notes to the financial statements for key Balance sheet areas, with a focus on investments and JV’s
  • Contribute to the documentation and enhancement of financial policies, procedures, and their relevant implementation
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required by management

Experience:

Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the corporate finance department of an industrial company. Prior experience in Financial reporting, auditing, financial controlling is preferable

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • CPA or equivalent professional certificate is a plus

Key Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
  • Detailed oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
