We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Site Engineer specializing in Steel Structures to join our growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Jr. Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing steel structure construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on-site.
- Assist in the supervision of steel structure construction activities on-site
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other project documents
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation
- Assist in quality control processes and identify potential issues or improvements
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve technical challenges and implement solutions
- Support the development and implementation of project schedules and timelines
- Participate in site meetings and communicate project status to senior management
- Ensure adherence to local construction regulations and environmental standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in steel structure construction or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Strong knowledge of steel structure design and construction principles
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations in the UAE
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred
- Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced construction environment
