Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and helping them reach their full potential? GEMS National School Al Barsha is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our Inclusion Team under GEMS Link Services.
About the Role:
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication, language, and learning needs of our students. Your expertise will help ensure that Students of Determination are equipped with the skills and strategies they need to thrive both socially and academically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the Inclusion team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Monitor student progress and adapt intervention strategies as needed.
- Provide training and support to Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with KHDA, DHA, and school requirements.

Skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience.
- DHA license or eligibility to obtain a DHA license.
- Proven experience working in a school or pediatric setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
