The successful candidate will lead on Social Studies development and will show evidence of contextualising a curriculum withing a local and national context.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, or related field
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)
- Advanced English language proficiency (C1 level or higher)
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching Social Studies in an international school setting
- Experience in teaching British curriculum or international curriculum
- Strong knowledge of social sciences, history, geography, and cultural studies
- Experience in developing engaging lessons that promote critical thinking
- Understanding of differentiated teaching strategies for diverse learners
- Experience in using technology to enhance social studies instruction
- Strong communication skills despite being a non-native English speaker
- Cultural sensitivity and global awareness
- Ability to contribute to cross-curricular initiatives and whole-school events
- Experience in assessment and monitoring student progress in social studies
