Admissions Assistant

Job Description

Arcadia Global School Al Furjan is seeking to appoint an experienced Admissions Assistant to start in July. The successful candidate will have an outgoing and friendly personality and will assist to manage the day-to-day administrative tasks associated with Admissions and promoting a strong customer service ethos and high professional standards. The post holder will report to the Head of Admissions.

Arcadia Global School Al Furjan is a new high quality British curriculum school. The school’s aspiration is to be the inclusive school of choice for parents within the Al Furjan community and beyond, where every student is happy, positive, and thriving academically, socially and emotionally.

Requirements:

● Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an Admissions department in a British Curriculum school in Dubai.

● Excellent knowledge of KHDA regulations and requirements.

● Educated to a degree level is mandatory.

● Ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlines.

● Strong English speaker with exceptional skills, both verbal and written.

● Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, must enjoy dealing with customers face to face.

● Must be a team player with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet targets.

● Excellent IT skills, good working knowledge of excel and google drive.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

● Be available for walk-in parent queries and tours

● Be able to commit to tasks beyond typical workday when required.

● Answer the admissions phones in a professional manner, answering queries.

● Promptly respond to all email enquiries.

● Collect and accurately record various admission documents.

● Booking and tracking admissions assessments and communicating with staff members when scheduling assessments.

● Maintain current and archived student files.
