The Role

As Assistant Head Teacher (Data and Assessment), you will play a pivotal role in driving academic excellence, overseeing timetabling, assessment, examinations, and data systems across school. You will ensure that our students make outstanding progress, while providing teachers and leaders with the tools, systems, and insights to deliver the very best outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of a high quality timetable and effective deployment of staff and resources.
  • Overseeing and assuring assessment and reporting systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all subject areas.
  • Managing the scheduling and delivery of internal and external examinations.
  • Leading staff cover processes, academic review days, parents’ evenings, and benchmarking assessments.
  • Supporting the school’s inspection readiness, UAE National Agenda priorities, and wider school improvement planning.

Skills

  • A degree in Education and recognised teaching qualifications.
  • Significant teaching experience with a proven record of successful middle or senior leadership.
  • Strong expertise in curriculum, assessment, and pastoral practices.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • The ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
