Your Role:
The Assistant Manager – IT Audit is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on IT audits to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with policies, and regulatory requirements. This role supports the IT Audit Manager in delivering high-quality audit outcomes and recommendations to strengthen the IT governance, risk, and control environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing the annual IT audit plan based on risk assessment.
- Plan and conduct IT audits, including application controls, general controls, cybersecurity, data privacy, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
- Evaluate IT systems, networks, and processes to identify control weaknesses, risks, and inefficiencies.
- Review the security and integrity of systems such as ERP, CRM, cloud applications, and other critical business systems.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk implications, and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to discuss audit observations and agree on remediation plans.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and validate corrective actions.
- Stay updated on emerging IT risks, cybersecurity trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal or external audit engagements and assist in ad-hoc reviews or investigations.
- Carry out Audits on variety of technology services and platforms including review of infrastructure, HIS and e-commerce application controls, systems architecture, IT service management, software security, data migration, cloud computing, emerging technology (AI/ML) risks, cyber security and IT DR
- Co-ordinate and support during IT external audits and statutory audit engagements.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CPA, or CISSP (preferred or in progress).
- 5 years of experience in IT auditing, risk management, or information security.
