Career Counselor

Location: Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Career Counselor to guide students in making informed academic and career decisions and help them prepare for higher education and future employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

– Provide academic and career guidance to students from Grades 9–12.
– Conduct career interest and aptitude assessments.
– Assist students in selecting appropriate subjects and educational pathways.
– Guide students through university admissions, applications, personal statements, and scholarship opportunities.
– Organize career fairs, university visits, workshops, and career awareness programs.
– Support students with CV writing, interview preparation, and professional skills development.
– Maintain records of student counseling sessions and career plans.
– Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school leadership to support student success.

Requirements

– Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
– Master’s Degree in Counseling or Career Guidance is preferred.
– Minimum 2 years of experience in career counseling, academic advising, or student guidance.
– Strong knowledge of university admission processes and career development frameworks.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
– Experience working in a school environment is an advantage.
– Knowledge of KHDA requirements and UAE education systems is preferred.
