Cashiering Duties
- Welcome customers and ensure a friendly checkout experience.
- Scan, process, and bill purchases accurately.
- Handle cash, card, and online payments securely.
- Balance cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as per company policy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the counter.
- Assist customers with queries and escalate when necessary.
Merchandising Duties
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
- Maintain accurate product labeling and pricing.
- Monitor expiry dates and remove expired/damaged products.
- Execute promotional displays and follow planograms.
- Coordinate with the store supervisor for stock replenishment.
- Support product arrangements for seasonal or promotional campaigns.
Online & Home Delivery Support
- Assist in receiving, picking, and packing online orders accurately.
- Ensure orders are packed safely and prepared on time for delivery.
- Coordinate with riders/drivers for timely dispatch and delivery.
- Update order status in the system and ensure accuracy of items.
- Communicate with online support teams for order-related issues.
- Maintain proper handling of sensitive or fragile items.
- Support stock updates and availability checks for online listings.
Requirements
- Experience as a cashier, merchandiser, or online order assistant (retail/pharmacy preferred).
- Familiarity with POS and basic order management systems.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Physically fit to handle stocking and packing duties.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Retail inventory knowledge.
- Experience in e-commerce or home delivery operations.
- Knowledge of barcode scanning and product coding.
