Financial Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in corporate banking operations and real estate/developer accounting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally and responsible for project sales accounting, preparing accurate monthly Profit & Loss statements, managing bank reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and RERA.

Key Responsibilities:

-Financial Accounting & Reporting 

-Prepare, maintain, and review general ledger entries, journal postings, and reconciliations.

-Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reports and financial statements.

-Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

-Corporate Banking

-Handle day-to-day corporate bank transactions, fund transfers, payments, and reconciliations.

-Maintain strong relationships with banks and coordinate for facilities, guarantees, and credit-related matters.

-Monitor cash flows, banking facilities, and treasury operations.

-Real Estate / Developer Accounting: Manage accounting for property sales, leases, and rental income.

-Record and reconcile project-related costs, contractor payments, and revenue recognition.

-Track progress billing, escrow accounts, and project financing.

-Airbnb & Hospitality Accounting

-Record short-term rental income and reconcile with booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.).

-Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally.

-Automate processes and generate MIS reports.

-Compliance & Audit

-Ensure compliance with VAT, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.

-Support external and internal audits with complete documentation.

-Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CPA/CA/ACCA preferred).

3–5+ years’ experience in accounting with exposure to corporate banking, real estate, or hospitality.

Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.).

Strong knowledge of PNL preparation, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Experience with Airbnb or short-term rental financial management is an advantage.

Excellent communication, analytical, organizational skills and proactive.
