Alba Foods supplies premium food products to hotels, restaurants, and food service businesses across the UAE. We’re lean and fast-moving — which means you won’t be one cog buried in one narrow task. You’ll own receivables end to end and actually see your work move the business.

This is a role for someone early in their finance career who’s sharp, organised, and wants to grow fast — not sit still.

What you’ll own

• Receivables, start to finish: track customer balances, issue Statements of Account, and chase overdue payments until they’re closed
• Record and allocate incoming payments across cash, cheque, transfer, and card — and keep petty cash tight
• Reconcile customer, supplier, and bank accounts, and hunt down anything that doesn’t add up
• Keep records clean and audit-ready in ERP, and support month-end, VAT, and finance reporting
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, Operations, and Customer Care to resolve invoice and payment issues
• Back up Accounts Payable when needed: verify supplier invoices and help prepare payments

What you bring

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–4 years of hands-on AR (or AR/AP) experience, ideally in the UAE
• Solid double-entry accounting and strong Excel
• The confidence to deal directly with customers on payments — firm but professional
• Sharp attention to detail and the follow-through to actually close open items

Nice to have

• ERP experience (Odoo a real plus)
• Background in food distribution, FMCG, wholesale, or B2B trading
