About the job
The Financial Analyst will support day-to-day finance operations, including reconciliations, journal entries, billing, month-end activities, and rolling forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Technical & Product
- Maintain accurate records of journal entries, invoices, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor WIP and follow up to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Ensure billings are allocated to the correct accounts and invoices are properly processed.
- Prepare supporting files for month-end closing activities.
- Review journal entries and accounting transactions throughout the month and during month-end close.
- Reconcile customer accounts and support accounts receivable collections.
- Review vendor reconciliations and payment requests.
- Monitor monthly actual vs. forecasted.
- Provide required support for internal and external audits.
Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency
- Review POs and validate supporting documentation prior to approval.
- Validate third-party invoices before submission for posting.
- Review posted accounting entries to ensure accuracy.
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them.
Innovative & Analytical Mindset
- Take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial or operational issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of finance processes.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a Financial Analyst, Accounting, or similar finance role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
