General Accountant

Job Description

DUBIMED Medical Supplies Trading LLC is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated General Accountant to join our Finance team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & General Ledger

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions.
  
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and execute month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
  

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR)

• Process vendor invoices, manage purchase orders, and execute timely supplier payments.
  

4. Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Compute, file, and reconcile local and federal tax requirements.
  
• Ensure strict adherence to trade regulations and corporate tax laws.
  

5. Banking & Audits

• Perform regular bank reconciliation and manage petty cash.
  
• Prepare supporting documents, schedules, and reports for internal and annual external audits.
  
  
  

Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. Professional qualifications are an added advantage.
  
• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within the trading, distribution, or supply chain industries.
  
• Software Skills: Proficiency in modern ERP and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Cloud, Tally Prime, or QuickBooks). Advanced MS Excel skills are mandatory.
  
• Competencies: Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and ability to handle multi-currency ledgers and fluctuating costs.
