Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
· Set up and manage banking operations, policies, and standard procedures.
· Assist in securing regulatory approvals, licenses, and ensure ongoing compliance.
· Define and implement financial products such as savings, loans, current accounts, wallets, etc.
· Coordinate with IT/development team for integration with core banking software / BaaS platforms.
· Monitor customer experience, operational efficiency, and improve service delivery.
· Build internal systems for risk management, audit, reconciliation, and transaction monitoring.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field (MBA or Banking Certification is a plus).
· 5+ years of experience in retail/commercial banking, compliance, or digital finance.
· Strong understanding of core banking systems, KYC/AML policies, and banking regulatory frameworks.
· Experience with digital banking, fintech, or banking-as-a-service (BaaS) platforms preferred.
· Ability to work in a startup/entrepreneurial environment and wear multiple hats.
· Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and project management skills.
