Junior Accountant
Job Description
Konésseur is a pioneering luxury resale boutique, blending premium retail with a refined customer experience. As we prepare for growth, we are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team and ensure smooth, compliant, and accurate accounting operations.🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing.
- Handle payroll processing, VAT filing, and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and coordinate with retail teams for accuracy.
- Prepare and review financial reports in alignment with IFRS standards.
- Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Manage bank reconciliations and oversee credit control processes.
- Collaborate with management to streamline financial operations and support audit requirements.
👤 Candidate Profile
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CA Inter or CMA certification is a plus.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience at a mid to senior level within the UAE.
- Previous work in the retail sector is required.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, payroll, and inventory reconciliation.
- Familiarity with IFRS standards (preferred).
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP Business One or similar accounting software.
Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and credit control capabilities.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
