Company Description: Vieco Pharmaceuticals, founded in 2014, is a pharmaceutical factory in JAFZA, Dubai, producing solid (Tablets and Capsules), Liquid (Syrups), and semi-solid (Ointments and Creams) pharmaceutical products. established to meet the rising demand for high-quality medicines in the region. The company focuses on using the latest pharmaceutical production technologies while adhering to international standards.
Role Description:
o Supervise the Manufacturing operations.
o Ensure the flow of manufacturing processes complies with cGMP and Vieco’s policies and procedures.
o Ensure the equipment, accessories, and workflow are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
o Lead and direct manufacturing operators to ensure the manufacturing process flows as required.
o Supervise the implementation of cGMP and the instructions in relevant SOPs in all aspects of manufacturing processes.
o Apply the required precautions and preventive actions to prevent and avoid errors, mix-ups, contamination, and cross-contamination.
o Responsible for creating the needed SOP’s for the production area.
o Coordinating between subordinates in maintaining high-quality and cost-effective operations.
o Ensure that the safety, environmental, and health regulations are appropriately implemented and take the necessary actions when incidents occur.
o Coordinate with the Quality function to ensure compliance of the processes in various stages with set quality standards as well as facilitating the sampling activities and required inspections.
o Follow Good Documentation Practices in making entries in relevant GDP documents.
o Create BMR’s, MMF’s, BPRs and MPFs for new products.
o Coordinate with the warehouse department the dispensing and receipt of raw materials on time according to schedule.
o Coordinate with the engineering department the setting up of equipment, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, calibration, qualification, and all relevant processes.
o Providing the required training to subordinates in order to guarantee compliance of operations to proper procedures according to recently updated SOPs.
o Assessing the needs and areas for improvement and communicating these ideas to superiors.
o Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Communicating Vieco’s vision, policies, and procedures to subordinates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Pharmacy
- Good computer skills
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
