Job Description

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor for Al-Jurf project to provide accurate cost management and commercial support across all construction stages. This role focuses on precise quantification, site measurements, documentation management, and cost tracking to support commercial control on villa compounds and mid/high‑rise building packages.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Conducting site measurements of completed works and maintaining updated measurement sheets throughout the project.
• Preparing and updating Bills of Quantities (BoQs), cost plans, and quantity baselines.
• Supporting monthly valuations, subcontractor payment applications, and client IPC documentation.
• Identifying and flagging drawing or scope discrepancies and coordinating with engineering and site teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Tracking variations and claims, maintaining change logs, and coordinating with procurement and site teams on quantities, materials, and cost impacts.
• Maintaining strong documentation hygiene through organized records, logs, and correspondence support.
• Assisting the Senior QS with commercial reporting, cost predictability, and maintaining data integrity across ongoing works.
  

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (Sri Lankan degree preferred).
  

Experience

• 7–10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor (minimum 7 years required).
  

Technical Skills

• Strong capability in measurement and quantification.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and QS software.
• Basic working knowledge of FIDIC, especially clauses relating to payments, variations, and claims.
• Understanding of cost control principles and documentation standards.
  

Soft Skills

• Strong numeracy and analytical ability.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and coordination with site, engineering, and procurement teams.
• Ability to maintain organized, audit‑ready documentation.
  

Certifications

• Abu Dhabi Municipality certification (if applicable).
