Job Title: Senior Accountant

Requirements & Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 5-7 years of accounting experience in construction Field in UAE or GCC
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
* Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organizational and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and update general ledger accounts
* Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly closing activities
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
* Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
* Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
* Support internal and external audit requirements
* Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions
* Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts
* Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
