Senior Accountant

Job Description

Bartawi General Contracting LLC is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team, reporting directly to the Chief Accountant.

Key Responsibilities
✔ Full accounting cycle & financial reporting
✔ Project accounting, WIP & Cost-to-Complete (CTC) reporting
✔ Project costing & profitability analysis
✔ IFRS 15 revenue recognition & client billing
✔ Cash flow management & treasury reporting
✔ VAT & UAE Corporate Tax compliance
✔ Payroll accounting & reconciliations
✔ Subcontractor & supplier accounting
✔ Budgeting, reporting & audit support
✔ Supervise junior accountants

Requirements
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
✅ 8–10 years of accounting experience
✅ Minimum 5 years’ UAE contracting/construction industry experience
✅ Strong knowledge of IFRS, IFRS 15, UAE VAT & Corporate Tax
✅ Hands-on experience in project costing, WIP, CTC & percentage-of-completion accounting
✅ Advanced Excel and ERP/Accounting systems experience
✅ Professional qualification (ACCA/CMA/CPA) is an advantage
