Job Description

We are a Dubai-based physical gold trading firm seeking a strong, independent Accountant to manage all company finance and reporting.

This is a standalone role – you will be the primary accounting professional in the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Record daily trading transactions (gold purchases, sales, premiums/discounts) in Neo ERP (Orosoft).
  • Maintain cashbook, bank reconciliation, and safe reconciliation (AED, USD, IQD).
  • Record scrap imports (gross vs fine weight, assay adjustments).
  • Prepare VAT returns and support FTA submissions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors.
  • Prepare daily cash/stock/P&L reports for management.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all trades (invoices, assay reports, contracts).

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of accounting experience (preferably in trading, commodities, or SME).
  • Strong reconciliation skills (cash, inventory, FX).
  • ERP experience (Neo/Orosoft or similar).
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and trustworthy.
