Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department at Saudi German Hospital, Sharjah. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a strong background in the UAE healthcare/hospital industry to contribute to one of the region’s leading healthcare groups.

Position: Senior Accountant

📍 Location: Sharjah, UAE

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations within the hospital’s finance department.
Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with UAE regulations and hospital standards.
Ensure accuracy in billing, revenue cycle management, and reconciliation of accounts.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with internal and external policies.
Monitor cash flow, payroll, and vendor payments.
Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.

Requirements:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree/CPA/ACCA preferred).
✅ Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a UAE hospital/healthcare setup.
✅ Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and healthcare financial operations.
✅ Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
✅ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
✅ Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
