Social Media Intern

Job Description

We are looking for a creative, organised and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to join our team in Dubai. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in social media, digital content and editorial support within a fast-paced media environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Social Media Intern will work closely with the team and support the day-to-day management of social media and digital content, including:

• Creating engaging social media carousels and graphics using Canva.
• Supporting the preparation and formatting of content for social media platforms.
• Scheduling and publishing social media posts in line with the content calendar.
• Ensuring social media content is accurate, well-presented and aligned with the relevant brand.
• Proofreading articles and digital content for spelling, grammar, clarity and consistency.
• Conducting light research to support articles, social media content and other editorial projects.
• Assisting with gathering information and checking facts where required.
• Supporting the team with additional social media, content and administrative tasks as needed.
• Taking responsibility for assigned tasks and ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.
  

What We’re Looking For

• A current student, recent graduate, or someone looking to gain practical experience in Social Media, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media or a related field.
• A creative mindset with an interest in social media and digital content.
• Basic experience with Canva or a willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and an interest in proofreading and written content.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive, reliable and willing to learn.
• An interest in media, publishing, digital content and social media trends.
• Previous social media, content or editorial experience is an advantage but not essential.
  

Important Information

• This is an unpaid internship opportunity.
• Candidates must have their own valid UAE visa for the duration of the internship.
• The successful candidate will be required to work from our Dubai office.
• This internship is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in social media, digital content and editorial support.
