SPECIAL NEEDS (SEN) TEACHER WANTED

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our Inclusion Team for the Primary, Middle, or Secondary School level.

Requirements

– Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Educational Psychology, or a related field
– Minimum 2 years of experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and/or Down Syndrome
– KHDA Teacher Approval or transferable approval with preliminary approval preferred
– Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), differentiation strategies, and positive behavior support
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills with parents, teachers, and support staff

Key Responsibilities

– Provide individual and small-group instruction based on each student’s IEP
– Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt lessons, learning materials, and assessments
– Monitor student progress and provide regular reports to parents and the Inclusion Team
– Attend support team meetings and contribute to student development plans
– Train and guide teaching assistants on effective support strategies
– Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment
