Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Middle School English Teacher to teach students in Grades 6–8 within a CBSE curriculum framework. The successful candidate will foster a positive learning environment, develop students’ language proficiency, critical thinking, communication skills, and appreciation for literature while supporting their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum standards.
• Teach language skills including reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary.
• Develop students’ analytical and critical thinking abilities through literature and language activities.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Integrate educational technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
• Encourage active participation, creativity, and independent learning.
• Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Promote positive student behavior in accordance with school policies.
• Foster respect, collaboration, and effective communication among students
• Design and administer formative and summative assessments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and academic progress.
• Identify students requiring additional support and implement intervention strategies.
• Prepare examination papers, assignments, and project-based assessments as required
  

Skills

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, English Literature, or a related field.
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Master’s Degree in English or Education is preferred.
  

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in English at the middle school level.
• Experience teaching the CBSE curriculum is preferred.
• Experience in UAE schools is an advantage.
