Job Vacancy – Accountant

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai.

Position Details:

– Job Title: Accountant
– Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
– Employment Type: Full-time
– Required Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the UAE

Key Responsibilities:

– Prepare and issue client invoices accurately and on time.
– Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain proper collection records.
– Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
– Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
– Prepare accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
– Perform bank reconciliations and review bank statements regularly.
– Monitor daily expenses, petty cash, advances, and supporting documents.
– Prepare periodic financial reports for management, including income, expenses, collections, and outstanding balances.
– Assist with VAT-related records, reports, and supporting documentation in accordance with UAE requirements.
– Support payroll preparation and employee financial settlements when required.
– Maintain and organize invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and all accounting files.
– Coordinate with management and internal departments regarding payments, invoices, expenses, and financial matters.
– Assist with internal and external audit requirements by providing the required documents and reports.
– Ensure compliance with the company’s financial policies and accounting procedures.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– 3 to 5 years of practical accounting experience.
– Good knowledge of invoicing, collections, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and expense management.
– Knowledge of UAE VAT procedures and documentation.
– Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
– Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
– Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
– Good communication skills and professional conduct.
– Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
