Job Description
The Education Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and attendance from the Education segment, including Schools, Universities, Training Institutions, and Academic Partners. The role supports AD Portfolio (teamLab Phenomena, Qasr Al Watan, extended new projects) mission by strengthening relationships with UAE educational institutions and promoting programs related to art/culture, conservation, sustainability, and wildlife learning.
The role focuses on developing tailored educational packages, managing large school accounts, driving outreach and engagement initiatives, and ensuring strong alignment with internal Education and Guest Experience teams. The Sales Education Manager also identifies CSR-linked opportunities and works closely with partners to support community and youth engagement.
This role is based Miral Destinations Headquarters, requiring regular presence and coordination across all locations to ensure unified commercial strategy, consistent execution, and seamless integration of on-site operations with central support functions.
Commercial responsibilities
- Drive revenue and attendance growth from Schools, Universities, and Education partners across the UAE.
- Develop and sell education-specific products, school packages, field trips, workshops, and learning programs.
- Build strong relationships with key academic partners and decision-makers within public and private schools.
- Identify new educational channels, including international schools, institutions, and home-school networks.
- Conduct regular school visits, B2B presentations, and academic engagement events
- Collaborate with Operations and Education teams to ensure smooth delivery of school programs.
- Lead sales planning for key academic seasons, education holiday cycles, and back-to-school periods.
- Maintain effective CRM tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting.
Leadership & Team Support Responsibilities
- Supervise Education Sales Executives and coordinators responsible for school outreach.
- Track team performance against KPIs and provide coaching, feedback, and development.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members.
- Foster collaboration between sales, education, and guest experience functions.
B2B & Education Marketing responsibilities
- Collaborate with Marketing to create targeted campaigns aimed at schools and educational institutions.
- Organize familiarization trips, open days, teacher engagement sessions, and curriculum-aligned events.
- Recommend and support digital content, brochures, and communication tools tailored to educators.
- Track campaign performance and recommend improvements.
Strategic responsibilities
- Support the Head of Sales in developing long-term strategies for education segment growth.
- Provide insights on curriculum requirements, school trends, and Ministry of Education priorities.
- Contribute to pricing strategies, tactical promotions, and program enhancements.
- Support in preparing budgets, forecasts, and performance plans.
- Ensure all offerings align with the attractions policies and educational mandates.
Business Planning responsibilities
- Contribute to annual and multi-year education sales planning.
- Define attendance targets and performance metrics for the Education segment.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking for school programs, pricing, and offerings.
- Identify opportunities to enhance educational content and guest experience.
- Translate strategic objectives into clear action plans for the team.
CSR & Community Engagement Responsibilities
- Support development and rollout of youth engagement initiatives and community outreach programs.
- Build partnerships with schools and government entities to deliver conservation and sustainability-focused CSR activities.
- Promote participation in volunteer programs, awareness campaigns, and educational competitions.
- Track CSR outcomes and prepare reports highlighting engagement and impact.
Education and Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4–6 years of experience in education sales, school partnerships, or academic program development.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Strong knowledge of UAE education systems and laws
- Deep understanding of UAE culture, values, traditions, and business etiquette.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building capability.
- Ability to analyze performance data and prepare insightful reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
Desirable:
- Experience leading teams or managing key accounts.
- Experience working within UAE or GCC markets.
- Arabic language skills (spoken and written) are essential.
- Experience in attractions, wildlife parks, cultural destinations, or hospitality.
