Employability and Career Services Officer/Advisor
Abu Dhabi University is seeking a proactive and student-focused Employability and Career Services Officer/Advisor to join the Career Services team. This full-time administrative position is pivotal in supporting student employability, managing internship opportunities, overseeing on-campus student employment, and strengthening the University’s relationships with external employers. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating internship placements, cultivating employer partnerships, supporting recruitment activities, and guiding students in exploring their career potential through targeted career development initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing the internship program, coordinating on-campus student employment processes, delivering career development workshops, supporting career fairs and employer engagement events, advising students on CV writing, interview preparation, workplace readiness, and professional growth, and ensuring consistent communication with students, employers, academic departments, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proven ability to align career services initiatives with institutional goals. A background in career advising, internship coordination, employer relations, recruitment, or student development is essential. Candidates should have a relevant educational background and significant experience in higher education, employability services, career counseling, or employer engagement. Proficiency in English and additional languages, along with strong knowledge of career development tools, student employment systems, and employer engagement platforms, will be highly regarded.
