Finance Information Systems Analyst

Job Description

• Support the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Financial Information Systems.
• Extract, analyze, validate, and reconcile financial and operational data from financial systems and databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in developing and optimizing Oracle SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data-validation queries.
• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, data models, calculations, and performance indicators to support financial analysis and management reporting.
• Support the automation and improvement of financial processes, workflows, and recurring activities using appropriate digital tools and technologies.
• Assist with system enhancements and testing, including requirements documentation, test scenarios, result validation, and issue recording.
• Investigate and troubleshoot system, reporting, and data-quality issues, and coordinate with Finance, IT, and other relevant teams to resolve them.
• Assist in monitoring data interfaces and integrations between financial systems and other applications.
• Prepare and maintain system documentation, user guides, process maps, and technical reports.
• Apply programming, data analytics, automation, and AI tools to improve reporting and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical support and guidance to Financial Information Systems users.
• Maintain data confidentiality and comply with information security, data governance, financial controls, and organizational policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the line manager.
  

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• knowledge of databases, SQL, data analysis, and reporting concepts.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  

Preferred Qualification

• Knowledge of Oracle SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Power BI, data visualization, and dashboard development.
• Familiarity with automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to support data analysis and process improvement
• Basic understanding of financial systems, financial data, budgeting, and financial reporting concepts.
