Job Summary:
The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial health of the organization. They oversee financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and risk management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with the company’s strategic goals. The role involves data analysis, financial forecasting, and advising senior management on financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, laws, and standards.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, including accountants and analysts.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
- Support investment and funding decisions with financial modelling and analysis.
- Recommend cost-saving initiatives and improvements in financial operations.
- Collaborate with other departments for financial insights and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CFA, or ACCA
- 10 years of experience in finance or accounting
- Proficient in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
