Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare the monthly group management pack: consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and entity-level Business KPIs, with variance commentary vs budget and prior year.
  • Coordinate month-end close timelines with entity accountants; track open items and escalate blockers.
  • Maintain the intercompany matrix and ensure intercompany balances reconcile before consolidation.
  • Run the annual budget cycle for all entities: templates, timelines, challenge sessions with unit heads, consolidation and board presentation.
  • Build scenario and sensitivity models (fleet expansion, new delivery contracts, unit-portfolio growth, pricing changes).
  • vehicle-wise P&L, utilisation and revenue-per-day analysis, fleet acquisition/disposal appraisals, residual value tracking, insurance and maintenance cost review.
  • unit economics per delivery/route/client, driver and vehicle productivity, contract pricing reviews.
  • owner-account reporting, rent collection and arrears ageing, occupancy and yield analysis, service-charge and maintenance cost recovery.
  • Present findings to unit heads with clear recommendations; follow through on agreed actions.
  • Support bank facility reviews, renewals and covenant monitoring; prepare bank information packs and financial covenant calculations.
  • Monitor group liquidity, working-capital cycles (DSO/DPO/DIO) and funding requirements by entity.
  • Evaluate financing options (asset finance for fleet, working-capital lines, investment proposals) and prepare comparison analyses for management decision.
  • Prepare business cases, NPV/IRR/payback analyses and post-investment reviews for capex, new ventures and acquisitions.
  • Support due diligence, valuation and financial modelling for any group investment or divestment.
  • Support statutory audits across entities: audit schedules, query resolution, timeline tracking.
  • Assist with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT computations, transfer-pricing documentation and group tax planning inputs.
  • Identify control gaps and process inefficiencies; propose and help implement improvements.
  • Lead or coordinate finance transformation initiatives (systems, automation, reporting tools, dashboards).

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or CFA (completed or final stage) strongly preferred.
  • 6–10 UAE years in FP&A, financial analysis or business partnering, including at least 3 years in a multi-entity group.
  • Experience in fleet/rental, logistics, real estate management
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling; experience with ERP systems and BI/dashboard tools (Power BI or similar).
  • Working knowledge of IFRS, UAE Corporate Tax and VAT.
  • A doer: organised, commercially sharp and comfortable being trusted with senior-level responsibility.
