Job Description

Offer essential support and be responsible for providing and implementing the various human resource functions to best support the business needs and the implementation of the company’s strategy and policies. To act as facilitator for the Directors to promote the values and enable business success through job design, recruitment, performance management, training and development, talent management, and the like.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure company policies and procedures are legally compliant with the UAE Labour Law
  • Develop, implement and monitor HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Maintain hard and electronic personnel files and schedules
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of staff
  • Assist and ensure that all newly recruited employees are provided with the relevant and required employment documentation
  • Ensure all employees receive an induction into the organisation
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance and advice to all employees on HR related policies and procedures with respect to Mirage Sponsorship and the Residence Visa process and renewal thereof
  • Manage a library of Job Descriptions for all roles at Mirage and ensure that these are kept up to date at all times
  • Manage the annual staff review process: set up review meetings, sit in on these, prepare, finalise and distribute notes of all meeting and provide a summary of results to senior staff
  • Ensure all recruitment positions have an up-to-date job description and are evaluated accordingly
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Nurture a positive working environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE labour law and HR best practices
  • Knowledge of HR systems, databases and HR Metrics
  • Leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Highly proficient in English
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High level of company knowledge, integrity and confidentiality
  • Respect for cultural sensitivities
  • UAE experience preferred
