Job Description


The HR Intern will support the Human Resources department in day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, administration, and record management. This internship provides hands-on exposure to various HR functions and offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical HR knowledge within a professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Assist in posting vacancies on job portals and social media platforms.
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases.
  • Support onboarding activities for new employees.

HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records and personnel files.
  • Assist with document preparation, filing, and data entry.
  • Support visa, insurance, and employee documentation processes.
  • Ensure employee records are accurate and up to date.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Support employee recognition and wellness initiatives.
  • Help coordinate internal communications and HR announcements.
  • Participate in employee surveys and engagement programs.

HR Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare HR reports and trackers as required.
  • Assist with attendance and leave record management.
  • Support HR audits and compliance activities.
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee information at all times.

Learning & Development

  • Assist in coordinating training programs and workshops.
  • Track training attendance and completion records.
  • Support learning and development initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Human Resources
  • Business Administration
  • Psychology
  • Management
  • Related field

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship or administrative experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of UAE labor law is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HR systems or recruitment platforms is preferred.
