Role Description
Matex is seeking a proactive and organized Human Resources Officer to support our growing team.
Working closely with management, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, supporting recruitment, employee development, policy implementation, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and UAE labor regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working across a broad range of HR functions while contributing to the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment activities including job postings, CV screening, initial interviews, onboarding, and employee induction.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, attendance, leave, and payroll coordination.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Coordinate employee training, performance reviews, and development initiatives.
- Support employee relations and assist with resolving HR-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law and company policies.
- Prepare HR reports and recommend improvements to HR processes and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within the UAE.
- Good understanding of UAE Labor Law and HR best practices.
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, HRIS, and HR administration.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail.
- Experience developing HR policies and SOPs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments is an advantage.
