Job Description
Provides a high-level seamless Dubai Health Authority licensing and onboarding service to the Nursing job family in a timely and efficient service, in line with the American Hospital Dubai’s organisational strategy.
Responsibilities
- Covers the full spectrum of onboarding and Dubai Health Authority licensing processes, staff welfare and internal and external communications specifically for a high volume of nurses and admin and support staff including Senior Management level roles.
- Ensures that the administrative duties relating to Dubai Health Authority licensing and onboarding of nursing staff are carried out smoothly in an efficient and effective manner.
- Communicates selected candidates with details about the company, the policies and requirements prior to their joining as per the Joint Commission International Accreditation’s standards.
- Coordinates with the Employee Health Nurse for the premedical.
- Gathers documentation required for Dubai Health Authority licensing and onboarding formalities
- Conducts reference checks and ensures positive feedback is obtained before initiating further formalities.
- Coordinates with Human Resources Government Relations for processing new visas for the selected applicants.
- Liaises with Performance Management Specialist for the Job Description of every selected candidate before sharing with the selected candidates.
- Arranges travel schedules and flight reservations for international staff.
- Coordinates with Recruiters and the Human Resources Housing section for allocation of accommodation.
- Supervises the prompt and efficient processing of documentation for the arrival of international staff before and after joining.
- Prepares files related to nursing, admins and support recruitment and exercises confidentiality.
- Ensures the files of new joiners are complete before handing them in for approval by the Assistant Human Resources Director.
- Welcomes new hires and provides prepared packages, guidelines and onboarding kits for induction as well as hospital tours.
- Prepares ID badges for nurses, admin and support staff.
- Requests Medical Insurance.
- Schedules and organizes New Employee Orientation which includes agendas, updated presentations, booking of venue, calendar invites, catering and packages.
- Applies Malpractice Insurance for newly joined medical staff.Â
- Provides all-time clear communication with selected candidates regarding the entire Dubai Health Authority licensing formalities and requirements from the start of the application to license issuance.
- Assesses and verifies certificates and documents of the selected candidates in preparation for their Dubai Health Authority application.
- Discusses with the applicants the Dataflow and Dubai Health Authority requirements within the specified guidelines.
- Renews and cancels the Dubai Health Authority license for nurses.
- Deals with Credentialing, Dataflow Primary Source Verification, and Prometric Examination up to obtaining the license.
- Ensures systematic data is maintained meeting the Dubai Health Authority and Joint Commission International Accreditation standardsÂ
- Ensures close follow-up with the candidates for collating and scanning of the documents needed for the Dubai Health Authority application.Â
- Uploads the Dubai Health Authority applications and follows up with the Dubai Health Authority personnel on a regular basis on the applications submitted.Â
- Uploads the Dataflow applications and close follow-up with the Dataflow personnel on a regular basis.
- Ensures the Prometric test is applied for in a timely manner and coordinating with the candidates for the same.Â
- Prepares and maintain accurate expense report for the Corporate credit cards used for the Dubai Health Authority and Dataflow portals.
- Exhibits professional conduct, communication and presentation at all times to continually promote the organisation, ensuring candidates are given the best impression of the organisation to drive American Hospital Dubai forward as an employer of choice.
Qualifications
- Certificate/Diploma or Graduate or equivalent from a recognized University/College
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of the Dubai Health Authority’s Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR) for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals
- Previous Middle Eastern experience in the Healthcare sector is preferable
