THE POST

Aldar Education is currently seeking a Recruitment Executive for an immediate start. The current vacancy is based in ADNOC School, Sas Al Nakhl, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise Taleo (or other ATS) to advertise and manage vacancies and candidate lifecycles
  • Advertising, screening, shortlisting, interview management and candidate tracking for all school staff in support of the Heads of School
  • Ensures all vacancies are filled with suitable candidates within the targeted time and the staff absence has been adequately covered off to ensure continuity of services.
  • Conduct pre-employment safer recruitment checks for all staff, including references and suitability/police clearances and ensuring appropriate follow-up based on each case
  • Coordinate new starter induction in school, and ensure communication takes place pre-employment
  • Manage the onboarding of school staff, liaising with IT for relevant systems / email set-up and processing staff ID cards
  • Coordinate ADEK pass applications and processing for new staff, ensuring clarity of timelines and providing guidance and support where required
  • Coordinate the visa applications and processing for new staff, ensuring they are aware of their requirements, in line with group-wide guidance and in collaboration with the HR & Public Relations teams
  • Ensure the school’s recruitment activity is in line with the staffing headcount, with the Schools Ops Manager and HR
  • Create and issue offer letters, contracts, contract renewals and associated documentation in line with the group wide terms and conditions and policies
  • Maintain the file of resumes or candidate database.
  • Respond to queries in person, by phone and email from candidates.
  • Manage and collate job applications and responses to all applicants within a timely manner.
  • Ensure completion of all documentation as per the recruitment standards and processes.
  • Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries
  • Organize, compile and update company personal records and documentation
  • Manage and update the HR database with different information
  • Liaise with the travel agencies to book the flight of all new employees.
  • Manage hotel booking of new hires
  • Send housing requests to the housing team for new staff and internal transfer
  • Raising purchase order (PR) on Oracle
  • Perform other related and reasonable duties as instructed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or Psychology
  • Minimum 2 years in Recruitment in any industry; or Education industry experience preferable
  • Proven working experience in recruiting
  • Deep understanding of recruitment processes
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software and candidate databases
  • Strong knowledge of candidates selection methods
  • Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods
  • Excellent knowledge of area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices)
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Integrity and confidentiality
  • Able to use various computer software
  • Knowledge of HR software and familiar with labour laws
  • Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail, prioritization skill and time management
