Government Sales Assistant Manager (UAE National)
To ensure smooth and efficient operation in the Sales Department in relation to the Company Core Process; thus directly impacting sales.
This position is responsible for the business development with existing and potential customers to achieve sales target and market share. Identify, manage and secure existing and new accounts and continue to maintain a high level of sales achievement.
- Facilitating indoor and outdoor sales activities as well as external client meetings.
- Organize and assist with government fam trips and VIP visits.
- Implement strategy for responsible industry or sector.
- Formulate sales reports using CRM system.
- Help in Identifying new business partners for the company.
- Implement tasks set by the Sales Director and Sales Managers within the team.
- Generate and track all opportunities using CRM system.
- Manage and close the confirming opportunities with the respected departments (Contact Center, Finance, Operations, etc.)
- Formulate and Implement set action plan and strategy for the assigned segment to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
- Communicate all sales campaigns to relevant customers and obtain proof of commitment.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports for the Sales Director and Sales Managers through consolidated and analyzed action summaries as well as sales tracking reports.
- Develop and manage portfolio of active and prospect accounts.
- Resolves order and inventory problems by investigating data and history thus identifying alternate means for filling requests and notifying managers and customers.
- Resolves promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotional details and regular and special prices; forwarding resolution to managers.
- Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request, selecting appropriate information, forwarding information and answering questions.
- Maintains customer database by inputting customer profile and updates.
- Tracks sales expenses by tracking, consolidating, analyzing, and summarizing expenses and therefore forwarding for reimbursement.
- Manages assigned geographic sales area or market or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
- Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with the Senior Sales Manager.
- Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
- Reports to the Senior Sales Manager – Government and HNWI.
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree / diploma
- UAE National
- Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a relevant field (customer service, sales, government relations).
- The ability and desire to sell
- Excellent communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good level of numeracy
- Full driving license
Desirable:
- 1-2+ years of proven sales work experience in/or within the entertainment industry, hotels & hospitality
- Fluency in Arabic and English
