Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5–7 years of experience in sports management, recreation, or student affairs in a higher education setting.
• Proven experience in organizing and managing sports events, fitness programs, or wellness initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of sports facility management, safety standards, and recreational program design.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students from diverse backgrounds in physical activities.
• Experience working with student organizations, wellness teams, and external partners.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations or international standards for health, safety, and sports facilities is preferred.

Job Purpose The Manager – Sports and Recreation plays a pivotal role in developing and managing sports programs, recreational activities, and wellness.

Reporting to the DGM – Student Affairs, the Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of sports and recreational activities to ensure an engaging, active, and balanced student life. The role will focus on fostering physical well-being, promoting team building, and creating opportunities for students to engage in sports, fitness and recreation club formation and activities outside the academic environment. This includes co-curricular activities as well.
