Job Description

As a member of Munich Re the MedNet Global Health Care Solutions L.L.C. is one of the leading managed care service organizations that caters to healthcare needs. We are currently looking for an Accountant.

This position is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This includes preparation and review of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) for different entities, and performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Your Job:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and compliance with applicable financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across entities.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including general ledger monitoring and reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring proper account balances.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations across multiple regions, supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audit activities, preparing and providing the required financial documentation, schedules, and supporting information.
• Maintain and update the ERP system (e.g., Oracle), ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial data and reporting.
• Provide financial analysis, management reporting, and ad-hoc financial reports, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement to support management decision-making.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a plus).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a multinational organization.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP), including financial modules.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with the ability to analyse large datasets and prepare detailed financial reports.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• High attention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
