Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities Accounting & Finance:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, quotations, and transactions.
  • Track purchases, sales, payments, and receipts meticulously.
  • Record transactions using accounting software for up-to-date accuracy.
  • Weekly bank reconciliation of accounts, deposits, and credit card statements.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks: accounts payable/receivable, bank statement reconciliation, and verifying deposits.
  • Assist in budget preparation, monitoring expenses, and managing petty cash.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports: income statements, balance sheets, and special reports summarizing trends.
  • Assist with payroll: calculate hours, deductions, prepare payslips, and facilitate electronic payments.
  • Help prepare and file VAT returns and Corporate Tax; ensure compliance with UAE tax laws.
  • Conduct basic and year-end financial analysis; identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Forecast and manage cash flow while adhering to UAE accounting standards.
  • Prepare journal entries and recommend policies and procedures for accounting controls.
  • Reconcile discrepancies and maintain confidentiality of financial data.

Procurement, Vendor & Client Management:

  • Maintain vendor relationships, process invoices, and verify bills.
  • Oversee procurement activities carried out by the field team.
  • Track accounts receivable/payable and follow up on overdue invoices.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain organized office files and documents.
  • Assist HR with employee onboarding, personnel records, leave, overtime, attendance, and insurance renewals.
  • Provide general administrative support to senior management (work permits, technical approvals, cheque preparation).
  • Prepare documents for new network connections, landlines, mobile SIMs, and other connectivity solutions.
  • Track and update IT assets and manage inventory.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and office communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in accounting and administrative functions (UAE experience mandatory).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) required.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, VAT filing, and reconciliation processes.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication abilities.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
