Job Description

This role will lead the technical delivery of Oracle Fusion solutions, ensuring system stability, integrations, and compliance. The manager will drive performance optimization, oversee technical teams, and align solutions with business objectives. They will act as the key decision-maker for technical design and governance, enabling efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Leads the design, development, and deployment of Oracle Fusion technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
  • Manages technical configurations, customizations, and integrations across Oracle Fusion modules (HCM, ERP, etc.).
  • Coordinates with functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and deliverables.
  • Develops and maintains technical documentation, including solution architecture, integration flows, and data migration strategies.
  • Oversees system performance, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues to ensure optimal application functionality.
  • Implements security protocols, role-based access controls, and compliance measures within Oracle Fusion applications.
  • Guides the team in building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, and other Oracle reporting tools.
  • Manages data migration, conversion, and validation processes during implementation and upgrades.
  • Collaborates with Oracle support and vendors for issue resolution, patching, and system enhancements.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging Oracle technologies and recommending upgrades or optimizations.
  • Ensures adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and governance frameworks for all technical deliverables.
  • Mentors and provides technical leadership to developers and integration specialists within the team.

Accountabilities

  • Ensures high availability and optimal performance of Oracle Fusion applications to support uninterrupted business operations.
  • Delivers technical solutions, integrations, and enhancements on time and within agreed scope to meet business objectives.
  • Maintains compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements across all Oracle Fusion environments.
  • Guarantees data integrity and accuracy during migrations, conversions, and integrations between Oracle Fusion and other systems.
  • Provides actionable reporting and analytics that enable informed decision-making for HR, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Optimizes system performance and technical processes to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.
  • Drives stakeholder satisfaction by ensuring technical deliverables align with business needs and service expectations.
  • Develops and sustains technical team capability through mentoring, enforcing standards, and promoting best practices.
  • Implements robust change management and governance processes to ensure controlled and documented technical changes.
  • Safeguards business continuity through effective risk management, disaster recovery planning, and tested resilience strategies.

Makes Independent Decisions On

  • Technical design, configuration, and customization within approved architecture and standards.
  • Prioritization of technical tasks and resource allocation within the team to meet delivery timelines.
  • Selection of tools, scripts, and automation approaches for performance optimization and integration.
  • Resolution of technical issues, including troubleshooting and applying patches, without escalation when within defined risk thresholds.

Recommends And Seeks Approval For

  • Strategic changes to system architecture or major integrations impacting multiple business units.
  • Budgetary decisions related to procurement of third-party tools, additional environments, or external consultants.
  • Significant changes to security roles or access controls that affect compliance or audit requirements.

Collaborates With

  • Functional Leads (HR, Finance, Procurement) to align technical solutions with business processes.
  • Project Managers for release planning, timelines, and resource management.
  • IT Security and Compliance Teams for governance and risk mitigation.
  • Senior Leadership for decisions impacting enterprise architecture, cost implications, or vendor negotiations.

Escalates To

  • AVP / Senior Management for decisions involving strategic investments, contractual changes, or major system upgrades.
  • Vendor/Oracle Support for unresolved critical issues or product defects requiring escalation beyond internal capabilities.

Financial Authority

  • Authorized to approve minor operational expenses within predefined limits (e.g., development tools, small-scale automation scripts).
  • Provides input and justification for larger budget allocations but does not have final approval authority.

Operational Authority

  • Full autonomy over day-to-day technical operations, including incident resolution, performance tuning, and deployment of approved changes.
  • Accountable for enforcing technical standards and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years’ experience working for large enterprises.
  • Solid knowledge of OTBI, BI Publisher, and other Oracle reporting tools
  • Solid experience in Deep data/Table level.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Performance, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Benefits
