Associate–Sales and Sponsorships
 

Associate – Sales and Sponsorships will support MODON’s commercial growth across its Leisure, Entertainment, and Sports assets by actively driving ticket sales, group bookings, and partnership opportunities. The role is focused on direct outreach and client engagement with schools, corporates, hotels, destination management companies (DMCs), online travel agencies (OTAs), and regional regulatory bodies to promote MODON destinations and drive visitation.

The Associate will work on building and managing a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, client meetings, presentations, and relationship management. Assist in the full sales cycle—from lead generation and proposal support to closing deals and coordinating onboarding documentation—ensuring that all activities contribute to meeting defined sales and sponsorship KPIs.

In addition to direct sales responsibilities, the Associate will support the Senior Associate in preparing sales reports, tracking sales performance, and coordinating with internal teams (marketing, operations, legal) to ensure seamless delivery of sales agreements and any strategic partnerships.

The role demands strong communication skills, resilience, attention to detail, and a passion for building relationships.

ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1.Sales Development

Actively drive B2B sales by engaging with corporate clients, hotels, destination management companies (DMCs), online travel agencies (OTAs), and education sector players.

Support school and sports tourism group sales through direct outreach to schools, sports academies, and group travel operators.

Assist in exploring and building relationships with event organizers and hospitality partners to grow visitation and sales.

2.Sponsorship Support

Assist the Senior Associate in identifying, pitching, and securing sponsorship opportunities for MODON’s Leisure, Entertainment, and Sports assets.

Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and follow-ups.

3.Accounts and Partnership Management

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned DMC, OTA, and corporate accounts, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.

Support the coordination of partner marketing activations and promotions in collaboration with internal marketing teams.

4.Cross-Department Coordination

Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Operations, and Asset Management to ensure smooth execution of sales and sponsorship deliverables.

Coordinate logistics with external agencies, vendors, and partners as needed for event and sales support.

5.Reporting & Documentation

Prepare and maintain sales tracking sheets, sponsor databases, and lead status reports.

Support the preparation of post-activation reports and documentation for internal review and partner reporting.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in sales, sponsorships, and commercial development, with at least 4 years in leading and managing multi-channel sales ecosystems across B2B, tourism trade, and institutional segments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications or specialized training in Sales, Sponsorships, or Event Management are a plus.
