Job Title:Finance Officer

Job Purpose:

As a Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the organization. Your expertise in finance, accounting principles, and tax regulations will be essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Accounting:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Reconcile bank accounts and prepare bank reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns (income tax, sales tax).
  • Payroll Processing:
  • Process payroll, including calculating salaries, deductions, and taxes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports.
  • Financial Analysis:
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and assess financial performance.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management.
  • Provide financial advice and recommendations to management.
  • Foreign Remittance Management:
  • Manage foreign remittance transactions, including currency exchange and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of foreign remittances.
  • Data Entry and Management:
  • o Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Enter financial data into accounting software.
  • Prepare and maintain financial files and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • CPA,ACCA pathway preferred
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
