Role Overview:
The Employee Relations Executive will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing employee grievances, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring smooth employee relations in both manufacturing (plant-based) and field/sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
- Conduct employee engagement activities, surveys, and feedback sessions.
Grievance Handling & Conflict Resolution
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints in a timely and objective manner.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all grievance and disciplinary cases.
Labor Law Compliance
- Ensure adherence to applicable labor laws (Factories Act, ID Act, Shops & Establishments, etc.).
- Monitor statutory compliances including working hours, overtime, holidays, etc.
Disciplinary Action & Investigations
- Support the disciplinary process including issuing warnings, conducting inquiries, and preparing documentation.
- Ensure all actions are legally compliant and fairly administered.
Industrial Relations (if applicable)
- Coordinate with union representatives to ensure healthy labor-management relations.
- Support collective bargaining processes and assist in agreement renewals.
Welfare & Retention
- Oversee implementation of employee welfare programs (transport, meals, hygiene, health checks, etc.).
- Support HR in identifying attrition trends and designing retention strategies.
Exit & Offboarding
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze reasons for attrition.
- Ensure smooth offboarding and compliance with final settlement protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Labor Law, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR/Employee Relations, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing setup.
- Knowledge of labor laws and disciplinary procedures is essential.
- Experience dealing with unions or field teams is a plus.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Indian and UAE labor law.
- Empathy, fairness, and integrity in handling sensitive matters.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS tools.
