Internal Audit Associate

Job Description

HLB HAMT Chartered Accountants is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Audit Associate to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting internal audit assignments, risk assessments, and internal control reviews.
• Perform process walkthroughs, control testing, and review of supporting documents.
• Identify risks, control gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare audit working papers, findings, recommendations, and reports.
• Coordinate with clients and follow up on audit requirements and action plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Advisory, or Internal Controls
• Experience in Hospitality, Retail, or Real Estate is preferred.
• Good understanding of risk management, internal controls, audit procedures, and business processes.
• Good knowledge of IA software tools.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CA would be an advantage.
