Key Account Manager – Fit Out
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager – Fit Out to manage and grow key client accounts within the commercial interior fit-out sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, client relationship management, and an understanding of interior fit-out project lifecycles. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring successful project delivery and fostering long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for key clients across all stages of fit-out projects.
- Understand client business needs and ensure services are aligned to their expectations.
- Develop long-term relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.
- Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities within existing key accounts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs for key accounts.
- Project Coordination Support:
- Liaise with internal teams (design, project management, procurement) to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise, keeping clients informed at all times.
- Attend site visits and meetings when required.
- Client Retention & Satisfaction:
- Conduct regular reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
- Address any concerns or escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and execute client retention strategies.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of client communications, project status, and account activities using CRM tools.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on key account performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the fit-out or construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale commercial or retail fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out processes, timelines, and deliverables.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and project tracking software.
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
Preferred:
- Experience working with multinational or blue-chip clients.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and permitting processes.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
