Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze the Financial Statement and the Budget Forecasting.
• Develop assumptions for the budgeted income and expenditure, including justifications for the major assumptions.
• Operating Expenditure estimation based on the assumptions / historic data / trends / business plan / requirements.
• Capital expenditure estimation based on the assumptions / historic data / business plan / requirements.
• Prepare Agency budgets for revenues, operating and capital expenditure, and manpower in coordination with the respective Agencies, including.
• Precise and accurate estimation of revenues based on the contracts.
• Prepare budgeted reports.
• Monitor the budget vs. actual on a periodic basis and report variances to the Budget Manager for necessary action.
• Prepare budget proposals for revenue, operating expenditure and capital expenditure based on the strategic plan, present infrastructure and future infrastructure of RTA.
• Collect past data from income and expenditure heads, to be used as an indicator or a reference point.
• Manpower budgeting based on the feedback of RTA’s HR department. Manpower budget would include estimation for all the associated costs relating to employees like – Visa, costs, benefits, recruitment expenses, etc.
• Issue the Financial Statement monthly and periodically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Accounting / Finance form a recognized university with 0-2 years of Experience, or Financial Diploma/ Diploma (Maliyoun) with 4 years of working experience.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge in Budgeting and Forecasting
