Senior Manager – HR Systems & Projects
Job Purpose:
- Strategic HR Systems & Projects lead with strategic ownership, transformation and governance of all HR systems, HR analytics and HR-led enterprise projects. The role drives automation, AI adoption, advanced analytics and data-driven decision making across the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR technology and projects are aligned with business strategy and organizational priorities.
Duties and responsibilities:
HR Systems Strategy & Governance:
- Co-create and execute the enterprise HR systems strategy and roadmap aligned with business and workforce priorities
- Lead system upgrades, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure timely raising of HR system issues with IT to fix issue on time and to run all the process smoothly
- Plan and deliver webinars and roadshows for all staff to ensure a strong understanding of HR systems, with particular focus on ESS and MSS roles and their functionality
HR Analytics, MIS & Executive Dashboards:
- Own HR MIS, analytics frameworks, and executive reporting
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and predictive analytics
- Translate HR data into actionable insights for senior leadership
- Automate and reduce ad-hoc manual reporting requests and eliminate dependencies
Automation & AI Enablement:
- Identify, design and implement automation and AI use cases across HR processes to improve efficiency and scalability
- Lead the adoption of RPA, low-code/no-code solutions and AI-driven analytics across HR operations
- Ensure ethical use of AI, data privacy and compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards
- Act as system administrator for HR modules including Performance Management, Development, Calibration and Succession, SAC Balance Scorecard, Talent among others
- Recommend system enhancements, best practices and new features to maximize value from HR technology platforms
- Manage HR shared folder access and enable effective usage by HR colleagues through governance and guidance
HR Technology Projects & Program Management:
- Lead and govern HR-led enterprise projects from initiation to closure
- Define project scope, milestones, risks and success metrics
- Apply structured project and change management methodologies
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Act as primary interface with HR, IT, Finance and business leaders for HR systems and projects
- Manage HR technology vendors, consultants, and implementation partners
- Ensure vendor performance, contract compliance, and value delivery
Risk, Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure HR systems and HR technology projects comply with regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements
- Identify and mitigate system, data, and project risks proactively
- Close audit findings related to HR systems and programs
Change Management, Adoption & Capability Building:
- Lead change management and adoption strategies for new HR systems and initiatives
- Deliver communication, training, and awareness programs
- Build HR digital capability and data literacy
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Track HR technology trends, automation and AI innovations
- Recommend and pilot new tools and practices to enhance HR effectiveness
- Embed continuous improvement mindset within HR operations
Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in HR Management / BSC Computer Science
Skills and experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of HR professional experience with majority of the experience in HRIT / HR Technology domain
- At least 3 years in Banking & Financial / Insurance industry within GCC
- Hands on experience / functional knowledge of working in SAP Success Factors
- Experience of working in multiple technical environments and basic knowledge of database administration
Nice to Have:
- Experience of other HRMS systems (Workday, Oracle etc.)
