Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women’s and children’s hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.
The Human Capital Specialist supports the delivery of end-to-end HC services across the organization, partnering closely with HCBPs and key stakeholders. The role focuses on HC operations, talent processes, employee engagement, and compliance, ensuring timely, efficient, and people-centered service delivery aligned with organizational values and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for Human Capital operational matters, policies, and employee inquiries.
- Support talent management processes including performance management cycles, calibration, and employee development initiatives.
- Coordinate annual HC activities such as salary reviews, promotions, bonuses, and workforce planning exercises.
- Manage HC operations including onboarding, offboarding, attendance, leave management, HRIS data accuracy, and payroll review.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and monitor action plans to enhance workplace culture.
- Prepare HC reports, track key metrics, identify risks, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with HC policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Capital / HR operations supporting a diverse workforce.
- Human Capital experience with strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of HC policies, procedures, and local labor regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
