About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Brand Manager to lead the development, growth, and performance of assigned brands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing brand strategies, driving sales and profitability, executing marketing initiatives, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring strong brand presence across multiple sales channels.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual brand strategies and business plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
- Own the commercial performance of assigned brands by monitoring sales trends, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing initiatives to maximize business performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international brand principals, ensuring effective communication, regular business reviews, and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Prepare annual budgets, sales forecasts, inventory plans, and business presentations for internal management and brand partners.
- Analyse sales reports, product performance, customer insights, and market trends to recommend strategic actions that improve brand performance.
- Work closely with the sales team to establish sales targets, develop promotional plans, and support key account negotiations to drive revenue growth.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute brand campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, product launches, retail activations, and promotional events.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability, optimize inventory levels, minimize stock ageing, and improve inventory turnover.
- Monitor product assortment and recommend new product introductions, seasonal collections, pricing strategies, and product discontinuations based on market demand.
- Conduct competitor analysis to evaluate pricing, promotions, product launches, and market positioning, providing recommendations to strengthen competitive advantage.
- Monitor brand profitability by analyzing margins, operating expenses, promotional investments, and return on investment (ROI), ensuring financial targets are achieved.
- Ensure all marketing materials, visual merchandising, and retail displays comply with brand standards and maintain a consistent customer experience.
- Work closely with retail operations and merchandising teams to improve product visibility, in-store execution, and customer engagement.
- Prepare monthly business reviews, sales performance reports, inventory reports, forecast updates, and management presentations with actionable insights.
- Identify opportunities to expand brand presence through new sales channels, partnerships, and business development initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and Retail Operations, to ensure smooth execution of all brand-related activities.
- Ensure achievement of all assigned KPIs, including sales growth, gross margin, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, and brand profitability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Brand Management, Category Management, Product Management, or Distribution.
- Experience managing international consumer brands, preferably in watches, fashion, accessories, lifestyle, or FMCG sectors.
- UAE/GCC market experience is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving business growth.
