About the job

The Digital & Social Media Executive is responsible for managing and optimising the organisation’s digital presence across all online platforms, ensuring effective content distribution, audience engagement, and performance tracking.

The role focuses on owning and maintaining publishing platforms, ensuring content is visible, engaging, and aligned with business and communication objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Digital & Social Media Management:

  • Manage day-to-day social media platforms (posting, scheduling, engagement
  • Ensure consistent and timely publication of content across all channels
  • Monitor and respond to audience interactions where required

Content Publishing & Platform Management:

  • Coordinate content publishing across website, intranet, and social platforms
  • Ensure all content is live, accurate, and aligned with brand and messaging standards
  • Maintain and optimise digital platforms for usability and performance

Performance Analytics & Reporting:

  • Monitor performance analytics and provide insights/reporting
  • Analyse data and provide insights to improve engagement and reach
  • Prepare regular reports on digital performance and campaign effectiveness

SEO & Digital Optimisation:

  • Support SEO optimization for digital platforms
  • Ensure content is structured and optimised for search visibility
  • Identify opportunities to improve traffic and engagement

Stakeholder Management:

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand event requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers
  • Communicate effectively to ensure smooth execution of events

Campaign Delivery & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with content and design teams to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Support execution of digital campaigns aligned with business objectives
  • Ensure alignment between content, design, and platform delivery

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of all digital content
  • Identify and resolve issues across platforms promptly
  • Maintain high standards of digital presence and user experience

Primary Deliverables:

  • Consistent and high-performing digital and social media presence
  • Timely and accurate publishing of content across platforms
  • Actionable insights and reporting on performance

Secondary Deliverables:

  • Support marketing campaigns and engagement initiatives
  • Contribute ideas to enhance digital performance and visibility

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, conflict of interest, standards, rules and regulations at all times.
  • Always prioritize keeping employee information and sensitive data confidential
  • Prioritize and ensure full compliance with the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies established by the company.
  • Accurate and On Time submissions of balanced scorecards.
  • Maintain supportive documentation to substantiate the actual performance for all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in the Balanced Scorecard (BSC).

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within large corporates (industrial, logistics, energy), government, or digital agencies
  • Proven experience managing digital platforms, including social media, websites, and intranet systems
  • Experience in content publishing, performance tracking, and digital optimisation
